Waimarino Art Awards

The Waimarino Art awards provides a unique showcase for artists and photographers across New Zealand. Now in our 42nd year, we are looking forward to drawing together and exhibiting creativity from across Aotearoa.
Entry categories include:
• Fine Arts – painting, drawing, mixed media, and 3D creations. Special categories include a focus on Ruapehu and youth divisions.
• General Photography
• Toi Māori
• “Locals” award
Entries are open now and close on 29th September 2023.
An exhibition of the works will be held at the Theatre Royal in Raetihi from the 7th of October (Awards evening) until the 14th of October.
