Trivia and Tunes - Combined Concert and Quiz Night

Welcome to our unique quiz night; this event will combine a traditional pub-style quiz with entertaining musical performances from Palmerston North Brass Band! This is sure to be an unforgettable evening, with plentiful prizes to top it off.

Doors open at 6pm, the quiz will kick off at 6:30pm, and the event is scheduled to conclude around 9:30 pm with quiz prizes and the drawing of winners for our Grocery Grab Raffle. (Be sure to get a ticket for the raffle as well - there are some amazing prizes available for that!)

We have FastFuel bringing their food truck, and there will be a licensed bar - if you buy food or drink in advance with your ticket you'll even get a discount!

The quiz will be a standard trivia quiz; there will be some musical links to tie in to the band's performances, but it will mostly be general knowledge, so you needn't be music specialists to come along. The event is family-friendly and there may even be some questions targeted to younger minds, so having some kids on your team might not be a bad idea! There are prizes for winning teams, and plenty of spot prizes.

Teams are limited to six (6) adults or eight (8) people in total. You can enter as a team to compete on your own, or as an individual or smaller group and we'll match you up with others to form a team on the night.

Tickets start at $25 for adults, and $20 for students, children, gold card holders, and beneficiaries (labelled as 'unwaged' on the tickets). As noted above, you can also pre-buy some food and drink for a discount off the total price. Food and drink pre-sales will work on a token basis, so you don't even need to decide exactly what you want in advance!

TICKET TYPES

STANDARD Ticket - $25 adult / $20 unwaged - provides access to the event, entry into the spot prize draws, and one SMALL token.

SNACK Ticket - $35 adult / $30 unwaged - provides access to the event, entry into the spot prize draws, one SMALL token and one MEDIUM token (save up to $2.50 compared to a standard ticket plus buying food or drink on the night)

MEAL Ticket - $45 adult / $40 unwaged - provides access to the event, entry into the spot prize draws, one SMALL token, one MEDIUM token, and one LARGE token (save up to $9.00 compared to a standard ticket plus buying food or drink on the night)

FOOD AND DRINK TOKENS

At Trivia & Tunes, food and drink will be available for purchase on the night, however purchasing the Snack and Meal tickets, as above, will provide a discount compared to purchasing a standard ticket and then buying food and drink on the night. Tokens can be redeemd as follows:

SMALL Token entitles the holder to 1 of:

- punnet of fries (GF DF)

- chicken schnitzel (DF)

- hot dog

- small barrista coffee or tea

- non-alcoholic beverage

MEDIUM Token entitles the holder to 1 of:

- kids meal (nuggets and chips, or hot dog and chips)

- tray of chips (GF DF)

- bacon and egg burger

- 1/4 chicken only (GF DF)

- alcoholic beverage (R18, ID required)

LARGE Token (or 1 Medium + 1 Small token) entitles the holder to 1 of:

- chicken skidder burger

- bbq beef & bacon burger

- pork belly burger

- loaded burger

- 1/4 chicken and chips (GF DF)

- 1/2 chicken only (GF DF)

- chicken schnitzel meal (DF)

- loaded fries

LARGE + SMALL Token entitles the holder to 1 of:

- 1/2 chicken meal (GF DF)

- whole chicken only (GF DF)
