Sunday Concert - Mighty River Harmony Barbershop Chorus

Mighty River Harmony is an auditioned, a cappella chorus of around 20 men, mostly from the Waikato. We sing four-part harmony, often in the barbershop style. For the past 30 years the Chorus has been one of the top barbershop harmony groups in NZ. Most of our singers are seniors but we also sponsor the mixed youth chorus Manu Mātātahi, which has a promising future.

The Chorus and some of its quartets perform regularly at both private and public functions.
At the Thames concert we will present a range of songs, old and modern, including two that we will perform on stage at this year’s Pan Pacific Barbershop Singers’ Convention in Auckland.

We always enjoy singing in Thames because there is a receptive and enthusiastic audience, and we greatly appreciate the support.
Come to Thames, lunch at The Wharf or one of our cafes and afterwards enjoy the concert by well seasoned experienced a'cappella singers of the barbershop style.
