Phishing attacks inflict a staggering cost of approximately 3.15 billion dollars per year on businesses in New Zealand. Alarming statistics from the Computer Emergency Response Team of New Zealand (CERT NZ) reveal a 32% surge in such attacks over the past year. While IT security solutions exist to mitigate phishing threats, the underlying human factors behind these attacks remain largely unexplored. This conference aims to shed light on the current state of phishing in Aotearoa, presenting cutting-edge research, technologies, and insights to effectively combat this pervasive issue. This conference is for individuals interested in phishing and security, including those from the realms of business, research, law enforcement, IT, and network security.
