Join us for a fantastic family concert celebrating spring! The event will showcase the musical talents of The Graduate Choir NZ and our extended community. Highlights include:
Soprano Estelle-Maria Toleafoa, the inaugural recipient of the Graduate Choir NZ Anniversary Choral Scholarship, will perform.
Bass singer Ken Naidu will lead his jazz combo, Whiskey & Juniper, alongside the choir and in a solo performance.
Rocielli Fernando, a soprano and composition student, will direct the world premiere of her composition.
The choir will perform Baritone Chris Artley's award-winning piece, the official anthem for World Choral Day 2022-3.
Special guests: Paradisum choir from Epsom Girls’ Grammar School and Mt Albert Grammar’s The Centennial Choir.
The internationally acclaimed The Graduate Choir NZ, under the direction of Terence Maskell, will offer a diverse repertoire, including jazz, British folk songs, an Italian madrigal, a German part-song, and compositions by Ivo Antognini, Dan Forrest, and Eric Whitacre.
Don't miss this affordable family event, with a flat-rate entry of $15 per person (children under 12 free). Join us on Thursday, September 21st, at 7.30pm at Mt Albert Grammar School Hall, Alberton Ave, Mt Albert.
