Melbourne based producer and DJ Sgt Slick (Andy Ramanauskas) has been a solid fixture behind the decks and on dance music charts and radio for the better part of 20 years. He has a huge list of achievements to his name including ARIA and APRA Awards and nominations, US Billboard, UK Music Week, Trax source and Beatport # 1 Records, and a string of successful music releases and collaborations.

His original music has featured on many of the world’s biggest labels, including Spinnin’, Ultra, Positiva, Island / Def Jam and Capitol Records, whilst on Spotify his music consistently reaches over a million listeners every month. Andy’s career as a producer and DJ has opened doors to shows all across Australia and Asia, and led to a 7 year relocation to the USA. His time over there included high profile gigs and residencies in LA, NYC, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago and beyond.

Andy has always kept his ear to the ground and an eye on exactly what is required to keep both a party and a production moving from start to finish.

Armed with a continuous delivery of club hits, remixes and his trademark ‘Discotizer Re Cuts’, he also produced the massive crossover radio hit and ARIA Gold Certified ABBA cover, ‘Gimme!Gimme!Gimme!’ in 2020 (Beatport’s highest selling Nu Disco single of all time!). This track is still filling dancefloors in 2023 and is one which has seen The Sarge headlining the nation’s biggest clubs and events week after week since its release. He has graced the cover of Spotify’s esteemed ‘New Dance Beats’ playlist twice, is ranked # 6 on Beatport’s highest selling artists of all time in the ‘NuDisco’ genre, and reached the # 1 position on Shazam’s Discovery Australia Chart!

His recent remixes for Avicii, Joel Corry, Majestic and Mark Knight have earnt him massive favor amongst the UK / European DJ elite, with regular support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Diplo, Fisher, Vintage Culture, Kygo and Tame Impala. Back home, he continues to land in the upper reaches of the ARIA Club Chart with every release. The last half of 2023 sees Andy releasing long awaited collaboration with iconic Australian act ‘INXS’, and another with Toolroom Records founder Mark Knight.
