With support from The Geraldine Community Arts Council, Rubita, the electrifying indie-pop sensation, is embarking on their highly-anticipated Geraldine Tour this October and November. Riding the wave of their hit 'Geraldine,' and the release of their new single 'Strange Company', the group promises an unforgettable sonic journey that merges soulful lyrics with euphoric melodies. Kicking off in Melbourne (AUS), the tour will make stops in Wellington, Lyttelton, and—fittingly—Geraldine itself. This tour isn't just a series of concerts; it's an emotional voyage that Rubita shares when their van broke down in Geraldine a few years ago. The Rubita Band features Wellington City Orchestra violinist Nicole Bares, multi instrumentalist Theo Sekeris (Lake South, Ras Judah), bassist Hon Manawangphiphat (Ruby) and drummer Seth Clement (Kafka Collective). Local legend Harry Finlayson-Hood will be opening up with night with an array of his incredible songs.
