The Classic presents Scotland's new comedy star, Ray Bradshaw, in his award winning solo show.
1 in 6 people suffer from hearing loss.
2 of those people are Ray’s parents.
Full of hilarious, revealing tales about growing up with deaf parents, Deaf Comedy Fam presents a very first for comedy, shows will be performed by Ray simultaneously in both spoken English and British Sign Language – which just so happens to be Ray’s first language.
International award-winning comic, Ray, spent 2021/22 touring the UK as John Bishop’s handpicked support act on his arena tour, having previously toured with Frankie Boyle in 2019. Ray was the first comedian to ever win a Scottish Culture Award and is a regular host of Scotland’s most popular radio show, Off The Ball.

Seating in the main venue commences 15 mins before the advertised showtime. All shows start on time.
Seating is allocated by tables and we fill the venue from the front.
All booked under the same name are seated together.

CATERING / FOOD OPTIONS:
We have a regular Bar Snack Menu which can be ordered on the night including pizza, fries, Fried Chicken, fresh Sushi & Edamame beans.
We do not offer any full meal/dining options but our festival showtimes provide plenty of time to dine before or after coming to the show.
Check out Tanuki's Sake Bar & Restaurant and Tanuki's Cave (Yakatori) which is right next door!! They have a function room for larger groups - early bookings are essential.
The Classic is a licensed bar. RP18 / Supervised.
Minors under 18 can be admitted if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Shows may contain mature adult content that may offend some people.
Anyone looking under 25 will be asked for ID in the form of NZ Driver's License, Passport or HNZ 18+ Card.
Entry will not be granted to minors, those without ID or intoxicated persons.
