A moody and melancholy performance - perfect for an autumn evening with a glass of red wine. Ravines delivers brilliantly-crafted vocal soundscapes, chilling ballads and thoughtful composition.
Ravines (FKA Ophelia) is the creation of composer/producer Patrick Shanahan and singer/song-writer Alex Louise. The pair produced 3 EPs from 2012-2017, writing collaboratively and releasing electronically- based tunes with Alberts Publishing, Media Horse, Red Bull and Warner Music at studios such as Roundhead and Depot Sound.
The pair paused the project from 2017 - 2020 for family and career. Alex Louise returns as a solo rendition of Ravines, with new music, as well as acoustic versions of tracks from the original EPs. Artist inspiration for her new writing includes The Veils, Laura Marling and Ramsey. Alex is set to release new music as Ravines in late 2023, with Pat returning to produce, bringing back their much-loved orchestral soundscapes and beat-driven choruses.
Doors open 6.30pm with a strict start time of 7pm. $15 online pre-sales or limited tickets at the door.
