Points! Work in Progress - A new comedy panel game show for human beings
Three panellists use their quick wit and humour in an attempt to win points! Prizes from the elusive prize table (so majestic) will be available.
Prepare for an evening of laughter, prizes, and all-around good dumb fun! Three hilarious panellists will compete for points and fabulous prizes from our elusive prize table, hosted by the energetic and Chicago-trained Kiwi comedian, Steven Lyons (Audience warm-up comedian for 7 Days and Taskmaster NZ). Inspired by panel shows like Would I Lie To You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, The Big Fat Quiz, and Australian Double Dare, Points! injects a dose of joy and laughter into your life!
This is a first run of a brand-new format that we think you’ll love. Yes, specifically you. Audience members are invited to giggle, guffaw and even get involved as the cast wows and woos you through ever-evolving games designed to delight… for points and for prizes - and who knows, you might even take home a prize yourself!
We're presenting a low-fi beta draft concept experimental early access prototype Version 0.1 sneak-peek pilot work-in-progress just to test the show and see if what brings us joy brings you joy too. Your feedback matters!
And we are very excited to be sharing the night with the iconic Wellington improv format Late Night Knife Fight at 9pm after our show. Get yourself a combo ticket to see both shows! You'll save money and gain smiles!
Points! will be a fantastic (and sometimes chaotic) 60 minutes of joy, followed by a quick feedback session to help us make this show even more of all the things you love.
