Join New Zealand media personality and MC Pio Terei and actor and comedian Josh Thomson alongside some of New Zealand’s leading parenting experts for an unmissable event hosted by Sentinel Homes Waikato.
Gain practical strategies, ideas and insights to inspire and equip you on your parenting journey - with lots of laughs along the way.
Over the course of the evening, you’ll be inspired with tools for becoming a non-anxious presence in your child’s life, insights into big emotions and strategies for ensuring the building blocks of resilience are in place so your child can grow in confidence.
Speakers include:
• Comedian, actor and father, Josh Thomson – being present, keeping it real and keeping it fun
• Neuroscience educator, Kathryn Berkett – the neuroscience of anxiety, and resilience and the developing brain
• Parenting Place CEO, Dave Atkinson – the realities of being a dad and why parents matter
• Parenting Place senior family coach and author of Kind, Firm, Calm, Jenny Hale – emotion coaching, being a non-anxious presence and supporting our kids through seasons of resilience
• Media personality and Parenting Place pou tangata, Pio Terei (event MC)
All proceeds from this event will go to Parenting Place and the vital work they do supporting whānau throughout Aotearoa.
