Join us for a NZSL tour for Deaf visitors through our new exhibition, Ever Present: First Peoples Art of Australia. This exhibition features the largest overview of art by First Peoples of Australia to be presented in Aotearoa New Zealand. A selection from the 150 works will be showcased during the 90-minute tour.
This tour will be led by Deaf artist Abbie Twiss with supporting interpretation by Platform Interpreting NZ (https://www.platforminterpretingnz.com/). Twiss has worked as an artist, art teacher and interpreter in Melbourne and Aotearoa. A graduate of University of Auckland’s Elam School of Fine Arts, Twiss has regularly exhibited since 1994. The tour is limited to 15 people.
