The New Zealand Doctors’ Orchestra is delighted to return to New Plymouth, performing on Sunday 23 July 2.00pm, at the Theatre Royal, TSB Showplace.
The orchestra, made up of doctors and medical students from around New Zealand, including New Plymouth, will perform New Zealand composer Anthony Ritchie’s Procession, Joseph Canteloube’s exquisite Bailero from Songs of the Auvergne, with soprano Frances Campbell, and Dmitri Shostakovich’s amazing Symphony no 5. The orchestra last performed in New Plymouth in 2014 and 2015, to enthusiastic audiences.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Hospice Taranaki.
