Welcome to 4 evenings of Restorative Yoga practise in a lovely peaceful space in Kina. This is a great way to nurture your self and recharge. Learn ways to relax your body and mind, tune into breath and experience your self - as you are.

During these sessions we will mindfully move through gentle "floor-based" (no standing) asanas/yoga poses, each of which we hold for a longer period of time to allow the body to open up and release tightness and tension. These longer holds also aid us to turn our attention inwards. We learn to drop down from our busy minds and tune into our experience of body and breath. Here we have so much to explore and discover as we let go and surrender to the present moment...

Many of us are overloaded and even overwhelmed by constant information-input and other stresses from the outer world. We are living life in a fast pace that we simply can't keep up with - and neither are we meant to! That's why the body reacts by telling us, in various ways, that it feels stressed and overworked. This is an opportunity for you to listen and take action to take care of your self, your health and your wellbeing. Restore and nourish all of you.

In addition to our meditative asanas we will explore other meditations and relaxation practices, such as breathing techniques; to further help bring balance to our nervous system - and our whole being.

Spring is a beautiful opportunity to reset and rejuvenate. The better we become at letting go and relax, the more energy and resources will be available to us later on. Think about how a fruit tree goes dormant in Winter... drawing the energy back into its roots, to rest. And when Spring arrives it is ready to expand its energy and bloom yet again! Just like everything else in nature, we as humans are meant to live in accordance to the seasons and follow the natural cycles of life. It is beneficial for us to shed our leaves (let go of what is no longer needed), retreat our energy back to our roots (priorities), take time to rest, reflect and restore so that we too are ready with new fresh energy when Spring and Summer comes around.

There is SO much for us to discover within our own bodies. They tend to be storing, and often holding on to, a whole lot for us. When we take the time to mindfully open the body we can uncover some beautiful surprises and also release built-up stagnant energy. When we release tension from our bodies, we release tension from our minds. Come to experience this for your self!

This course of 4 weeks is open to everyone and anyone - no previous yoga experience needed. Perhaps you have been away from your yoga practise for a while and are looking for a way to get started again. Maybe you've had (or still have) an injury or ailment that require of you to move slowly (literally and figuratively). This course is also for you who wish to deepen your existing yoga practise, as you'll explore ways to increase awareness of your body and breath as well as thoughts and emotions... Go deeper and access parts of yourself that you may not even knew existed...

These sessions are a great compliment and balance to your active lifestyle or busy work/home-situation. Here we learn to relax and open up - physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically.
