Mark your calendars! The Marlborough Lines Lights Over Marlborough is set to light up your night on Saturday 18 November.
Gather your friends and family for this spectacular fireworks display and family fun fair at the A and P Showgrounds in Blenheim on Saturday 18 November (postponement date Sun 19 Nov).
The fun gets underway from 5.30pm with preshow entertainment, including bouncy castles, a chocolate wheel, a mystery-bottle stall and lots of fun activities. A range of food carts will be selling hot food - you can buy your meal or bring a picnic. Performers on the stage will add to the vibrant atmosphere, making this the perfect way to catch up with friends in the wider community.
The fireworks display starts when it gets darks, about 9pm.
Lights Over Marlborough is the major fundraiser for Whitney Street School organised by the school’s Parent Support Group and proudly sponsored by Marlborough Lines.
The event first started with a small crowd on the Whitney Street School grounds more than 35 years ago and has grown to be a big annual event. Whitney Street School is super grateful to Marlborough Lines for supporting this fun reasonably priced family event - a delightful community gathering for all ages.
Buy tickets at the gate on the night. Prices are $8 per person or $35 for a family pass of up to two adults and three children, under five-year-olds free.
The postponement date in case of bad weather is November 19.
