Inspiration for living well and a fabulous time is assured at The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs’ High Spirits & Festive Entertaining weekend with New Zealand’s favourite cook Annabel Langbein and her delicious gin that is taking Queenstown by storm, Bella Wild Plum Gin Elixir by Broken Heart Spirits.
Annabel and the Kauri Cliffs team are working on some fabulous cocktails for both the Friday and Saturday evening’s convivial pre-dinner drinks gatherings, showcasing what Annabel extolls as “an elixir for the modern drinker”, made for her by award-winning Arrowtown Distillery Broken Heart Spirits.
Crafted in Queenstown and made from beautiful Black Doris plums and 18 all natural botanicals, Bella Gin is sure to get the party started at Kauri Cliffs. As day turns to dusk, a well-earned Bella Gin cocktail or two, shared with friends, is truly a ritual worth cultivating, and one Annabel will be savouring with guests over two fun days at the lodge.
After cocktails, weekend guests are free both evenings to enjoy beautiful dinners at the lodge, with an a la carte menu on Friday night and a five- course special tasting menu on Saturday night.
Annabel will host a fun and interactive Saturday morning demo and lunch, sharing recipes around the theme of festive entertaining and incorporating some of her favourite recipes and ideas for both Christmas cocktail parties and the main holiday lunch event. Annabel’s timely recipes promise to be easy for the home cook to prepare and perfect for summer Christmas celebrations and her enthusiasm and know-how is always infectious.
High Spirits & Festive Entertaining Weekend Tariffs:
Event tariff for weekend is NZ $1950 + 15% GST per person, based on double/twin occupancy, and includes:
• Two nights’ suite accommodation in luxury suite accommodation at The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs
• Pre- dinner drinks and canapes, including a selection of Bella Wild Plum Gin Elixir cocktails
• Annabel Langbein’s cooking demo and lunch on Saturday morning
• Gourmet dinner, full breakfast, and lunch daily.
• Select wines at Saturday night’s tasting menu dinner
• Guests choice of a day of unlimited green fees or a 50 minute spa treatment during stay
• Lodge facilities include an infinity pool and hot tub, spa & fitness centre with lap pool sauna & jacuzzi, sports courts, three private beaches, mountain bikes and walking tracks.
For guests wishing to extend their stay at Kauri Cliffs, a special tariff* of NZ $750 + 15% GST per person per night (based on double occupancy) is available for nights either side of the weekend. The tariff included pre-dinner drinks, dinner and breakfast.
