Hosted by two-time Billy T nominee and popular podcaster Tim Batt plus special guests.
After a sold-out Comedy Gala at the Whanganui Opera House, Hello Comedy brings you more laughs with this special showcase. We are bringing the one and only Tom Sainsbury (Snapchat Dude!) to town to headline a 2-hour comedy show.

Comedian and Actor Tom Sainsbury is well known for his almost daily short-form comedy videos on Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram. He is very active in local film and TV including appearances on Shortland Street, Wellington Paranormal and his new feature film Loop Track. Don’t miss your chance to see Tom bring his unique style of humour to the River City.
Tim Batt is a two-time Billy T nominated comedian who co-hosts The Worst Idea of All Time (NZ’s most successful comedy podcast with over 20 million downloads). He has hosted TVNZ Duke’s Banter and has featured on 7 Days, The Late Night Big Breakfast and more. He’s performed all over the world including Australia, USA, the UK and throughout NZ.
Also featuring Wellington comedians Lesa Macleod-Whiting and Clarissa Chandrahasen
Lesa is improviser, writer and comedian who has been a regular on the Wellington Improv scene since 2016 and began doing solo stand up in 2020 which resulted in being named Best Newcomer at the 2020 Wellington Comedy Awards.
Clarissa is an actress and comedian who has just finished her debut solo show Flawless at the NZ International Comedy Festival (“The perfect writer” -Art Murmurs).
