Hawkes Bay Big Band and Cossie and The Disappointments

Now here's something different! The local Hawkes Bay Jazz Club Big Band are doing a joint gig with big band Cossie and the Disappointments from Wollongong Australia. This one off special concert will cover the best music from different genres throughout the last century. Nothing wrong with that....we all know that last century was the best of all for music. The Hawkes Bay Big Band will be covering the best tunes from the jazz and swing era from the first half of the 20th Century and Cossie and the Disappointments will be covering the best of pop and rock music from the 1960s to 1990s. This gig is a one off, where else on earth will you get to hear a selection of music that ranges over 100 years? Both big bands have excellent singers and after they play their own sets the two big bands are coming together to play a few tunes together. This will be the best big band gig in Hawkes Bay for years!

Entry is cash payment at the door only (members $15, public $25, school students free) which open at 5pm. Music begins at 5.30. Bar is open and buffet meal is $25. Don't miss it, may not happen again!
