We’ve teamed up with the legends at Little Big Markets for an extra special collab at the new ‘Thrifted Finds Market’ at Coronation Park in Mount Maunganui on Sunday 20th August from 9am-2pm.
There'll be a DJ, Vintage & pre-loved clothes stalls, delicious street food, rack sales and of course our great big clothing swap!
Here’s how Gladrags works:
1. Purchase your ticket and pick a session time. These cant be changed so make sure you pick the best one for you. For the price of one shirt, you will be walking away with a bunch of new clothing items yay!
2. Time to play Marie Kondo and get rummaging for up to x8 items of CLEAN, NON-STAINED, NO HOLEY, GOOD CONDITION Spring Season clothing that can now bring someone else lots of joy.
3. On Sunday 20th August, bring your bag of clothes along to your session time at Coronation park. The staff at the entrance will count and check the clothing condition, a token in exchange for every item you bring along, and then you simply place your items in the sign posted area they belong in ( there will be staff to help you with this)
4. Get swappin’ !! If you want to take more than 8 items home, its just $2 per extra item upon check-out.
FAQ
Can I bring less than x8 items?
Yes you can totally bring less if you like, but you will only get a token for every item exchanged . Our minimum of items to bring is 4.
Do I need to bring my own bag?
You can bring your own reusable bag and leave it at the check-in / check-out desk until you're checking out.
Can I bring kids clothing or accessories?
Big yes to kids clothing as long as its in good condition and free of stains and holes. Accessories in the form of hats, bags are also welcome, but we ask that you dont bring any shoes please.
What will happen to any leftover clothing?
Any leftover clothing will be donated to the Salvation Army, Women’s Refuge and other Not for Profit organizations in need of clothing.
Is it just women’s clothing styles allowed?
Absolutely not, all gendered clothing is welcome.
How long is a session time?
One session lasts for 1.5 hours. You will be given a coloured wristband when checking into your session and you can leave and come back throughout your session as much as you like.
