Social Dance Party Nights:
Every Friday there's a Salsa night. Come down, drink and have a dance! It's the most popular Salsa & Latin Dance event. Anyone can come, this night is for everybody at all levels, dancers and non-dancers. It's Not just Salsa either, there is all styles which include, Cha, Bachata, Merengue & Kizomba. Please do support the night by joining Dance Classes at Salsa Latina to help keep this a Free dance night

DJ Reuben from Salsa Latina (DjR) playing best Latin mixes around, with almost 2 decades of experience in organising these kinds of events. In-fact One of the few in New Zealand who has been running regular non-stop weekly events since 2004 for the Latin dance scene in Christchurch.

Schedule:
- Sensual Mix from 9:30pm-10pm with Sensual Bachata, Sensual Salsa & Kizomba with more Bachata & Kizomba.
- Full Mix from 10:30pm: Salsa, Bachata, Kompa, Kizomba, Merengue, Cha Cha etc

FAQ's:
• Is there any Dance Lessons
No, but we do recommend joining our beginner classes during the week at our Studio at Salsa Latina or Salsa Night Fever which includes a class before the party on Saturday. Sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of this page so you are well informed of events and dance classes.

• I'm a beginner dancer, should I come?
Absolutely!.. its the fastest way to learn when mixing social dancing with regular Salsa classes you'll learn up 10 times faster. It's like practice on steroids!

• Bring my own Drinks?
Yes - BYO alcohol welcome, but do bring your own glasses & please throw away your own trash to help keep this a free event.

• Drinks Available?
Drinks inc water are available for purchase from reception - Cash / Paywave accepted (when someone present)
Generally this is a BYO Bring-Your-Own drinks night, no Alcohol available for purchase, this is BYO only.

• Can I bring my friends?
Yes everyone is welcome including non-dancers.

• Is it a Latin Night or a Salsa Night?
This is a Partner dance based Salsa Latin Night not a Reggaeton Latin Night

• How come its Free?
We do this to support & grow the Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba community in Christchurch and New Zealand, our dance Classes help offset the cost of running this Latin Dance Event. So please do support our dance school & Salsa Classes, Bachata Classes & Kizomba Classes.

• Do I need a Mask or CVC?
No, and no need to wear entering either, it's also not recommended for dancing.
