Fireworks to celebrate FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™

Wellington City Council is pleased to present a free Fireworks display on the Waterfront to celebrate the city hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™, one of the world’s largest sporting events.

The display, on the evening of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ quarter-final, will be approximately 10 minutes in duration.

The fireworks display can be viewed from the Waterfront and other locations in the city that have a view of the harbour.

There will be a selection of food trucks in Odlins Plaza and on the Te Papa Waterfront promenade from 5pm to 9pm.
