-
Muru is a statement of restitution and reciprocity. It describes the Māori cultural practice of restoring justice and balance when actions have brought about harm or disrepute.
-
Artists Sir Haare Williams, Charles Williams, Janine Williams and Nigel Borell collaborate in this exhibition to explore the concept of Muru in relation to the New Zealand Land Wars (1843 – 1872) the local history of Papakura and the greater Waikato region.
