Join Cyclorama, New Zealand's only e-bike festival! Eight specially curated trail rides with diverse themes of food, art, adventure and astronomy means there's something for everyone. From leisurely meanders along the grade 2 network of Queenstown Trails to the grade 3 farm tracks on the surrounding hills, the range of rides include a mix of adventure, fun and skill so there's plenty to choose from.

What’s on offer?
The super popular Tour de Gourmet is a 35 km degustation route for foodie riders with tasty dishes at several lovely, locations en route.
Pedaling Pinot introduces the pinot noir producers, Wild Irishmen, at our Gibbston location, Kinross, with pinot tastings, learnings and lunch. Enjoy a bonus glass of wine back in the Village after the ride.
Awake with the Birds has e-biking ornithologists cruising at a gentle pace around Lake Hayes, binoculars at hand to spot native and exotic species in the wet lands and the promise of cake & coffee at the end.

The guided Ride to the Sky heads up Arrowtown's Crown Peak for 360 degree views over the Queenstown Lakes region and beyond– it doesn’t get much better than that! 28km return with an altitude gain of 1426 metres. Riders will enjoy a turbo boost on this ride!

Enjoy a beer on your mission? The Hop Trail takes riders on a remote trail over private farm land to arrive at Altitude, Queenstown’s best known craft brewers. A brewery tour, tastings and pizza & a beer are all included.

Night Rider invites the curious to go stargazing in a vineyard in Gibbston. Get creative as professional astronomer+photographer, Brian Boyle, guides you through making an image of the night sky. Enjoy his cosmic brew with tapas offerings followed by an optional lamp-lit ride home. This is a real opportunity to try something outside the comfort zone!

Cultured riders will Meet the Artists, Arrowtown’s most talented sculptors, including Shane Woolridge, and Jasmine Clark. Led by local gallerist, artist and e-biker Liisa Garceau. She is also a professional guide so is the perfect person to lead you on this awesome art trail to workshops and private installations. A light lunch is on offer on location at Lake Hayes.

Bring your own e-bike or rent from one of our preferred local bike stores. You don’t need to be a super experienced or an uber fit bike rider to enjoy most of the rides.

All rides start and finish in Arrowtown at the Cyclorama Festival Village. During the day the Village plays host to a variety of e-bike retailers, gear and accessory providers as well as e-bike tour operators. So even if you’re not joining a ride come along for a look-see. Bring your appetite as coffee and food trucks are on hand all day. Relax with a drink and enjoy the live music of the very talented Scottish Guy, acoustic guitar soloist, Robert Glen, followed by the rousing sounds of the Queenstown Funk Orchestra. The Fork and Tap will be serving Altitude brews from their pop-up pub.
