What a line up! Steve Carlin - Crooner joins our line up at this Cyclone Gabrielle Wairarapa Relief Fundraiser. His gorgeous lush style and vocal textures bring the classic songs of magical swing era to life.
Steve joins Jazz singer Lady Larisa . She had just returned from Hollywood to perform at the Art Deco festival in Napier this weekend, but that's been cancelled. Larisa has toured internationally, opened for Michael Bublé and is a popular soul and jazz singer with a velvety smooth voice. Now, she has offered to sing at Le Grá Winery at Opaki this Sunday (Feb 19th) fundraiser for flood relief through the Rural Support Trust - Wairarapa.
Also performing will be Barry Saunders (Official). With deep rural roots, Barry, singer and songwriter for The Warratahs, is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable voices describing the country and its characters. Barry will perform songs from the band and from his own solo repertoire.
Entry will be $10 dollars per person, funds to the Rural Support Trust. Le Grá will also donate $5 from platters sold and from each bottle of wine sold to the fund.
Sunday’s forecast is terrific – please join us at this ‘pop-up’ event at Le Grá Vineyard Loopline Road, Opaki, just north of Masterton. 12 noon till 5pm.
BRING CASH, PICNIC RUGS, CAMPING CHAIRS. There will be silent auctions with many generous donated items on offer.
