Counties Cup Day, Franklin’s original thoroughbred racing event, offers top-tier racing as well as plenty of hospitality options to take in the excitement of the day’s action. Whether you’re coming with friends, bringing the family or joining us to party – it’s the event Pukekohe won’t want to miss.
When the horses take to the track you can expect to see an exciting 9-race card, featuring the Group 2 Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes, the Group 3 Counties Cup and Counties Bowl, as well as the Listed Counties Challenge Stakes.
This is the second stop in Auckland for The Grand Tour Racing Festival and for those that are coming to let their hair down ‘The Lane’ precinct is the spot for you. This year we’re bringing a cracking lineup of races, music and beverages - with mates by your side, it’s good vibes personified.
