Christchurch's biggest Quilt Exhibition in 2023. View a variety of members' quilts, two guest exhibitions. Buy from 6 merchants. Fabulous raffle. Entry $5, kids free.
The textile art on display includes a great diversity of contemporary, modern and art, pictorial and landscape, traditional and upcycled quilts. Some have taken part in national and international competitions and travelling exhibitions.
Our two guest exhibitions are part of Aotearoa Quilters entitled "Light it up" and the Red Challenge.
Raffle tickets will be available to buy offering great prizes including a sewing machine donated by Bernina, 2 quilts, and some fabrics among other prizes.
In order to support some of our sponsoring merchants we have offered space to 6 who will bring a range of quilting merchandise for you to buy including Bernina Christchurch, Handzon from Rangiora, Mallee Textiles, Annie's Country Quilts from Ashburton, Pink Possum Quilting from Greymouth and Sew & Co new to the Tannery.
