Age on the Go 2023

Mark your diaries - the popular Age on the Go Expo is back! Come along to this fun and free expo to learn more about a range of activities, services and products which enhance the lives of older people in our community.

Age on the Go, organised by Horowhenua District Council and supported by Te Whatu Ora, focuses on good health, connection, fun and support, with stall holders offering information on sport and fitness, mobility, social clubs, health, and council services for older people. There will be music, a café, entertainment, games, activities and more. Hundreds of people enjoy the event each year. Head along on Friday 10 November, it’s a great day out.

Our regular A Day Out in Town Bus Service will make special stops at the Horowhenua Events Centre at 10.50am, 12pm, 12.20pm and 1.40pm for people wanting to attend Age on the Go, and rides will be free for Gold Card holders.
