A glittering line-up of NZ’s top musicians and comedians will pay tribute to Dame Lynda and Jools Topp in a unique aroha-full concert celebrating the extraordinary contribution these kiwi showbiz icons have made to Aotearoa New Zealand over 40 years.

Guest artists, including Tami Neilson, Anika Moa, Ria Hall, Dame Hinewehi Mohi, Troy Kingi, Jackie Clarke, Annie Crummer and Don McGlashan will perform Topp Twins songs with a twist, while some of NZ’s funniest comedians will pay homage to the godmothers of the local comedy scene. The concert will be hosted by Karen O’Leary, Dame Lynda’s on- screen daughter in Wellington Paranormal.

The Dames themselves will also appear on stage – their first public performance since Lynda’s cancer diagnosis and Covid lockdowns halted their plans for a national tour in 2022 to celebrate their 40th anniversary as performers - unparalleled by any other kiwi artist.

TOPP CLASS promises to be an extraordinary event, with acclaimed event directors, Mike Mizerahi and Marie Adams, and old friends of the Topp Twins, helping put the “show” back into show-business, while acclaimed singer-songwriter and music director Don McGlashan is working closely with artists to deliver a top-class musical experience.

This super-special one-off concert will be filmed on the night for Sky TV however nothing will match the experience of being there in the grand ol’ dame of Auckland theatres, the Civic Theatre, to pay tribute to the grand dames of NZ entertainment.

Don’t miss out on this stellar topp-class show, and experiencing a never-to-be-repeated night of Aotearoa NZ’s entertainment history.

This show will be filmed for broadcast on television. The audience agrees to give permission that they may be filmed and appear in the programme
