The Last Outlaws

Mark is a hyper-realism artist and is a past wining artist.
Winner of people's choice awards of the Adam Portrait award 2009 and the Wallace Art award in 2012.
'The Last Outlaws' title is attributed to Matt, the singer from NZ band Beastwars, who said that ''all my subjects are the last Outlaws... the end of an era, the last of the true Punk Rockers of an era that started with Elvis.''
This is an ongoing series of paintings by Mark Rutledge that are being viewed collectively for the first time. Mark has met with these musicians around the world and photographed them for his series.
