The greatest screen musical of all time (according to the Roger Ebert...and just about everyone else) comes to The Regent's big screen in a glorious, 4K restoration of this Technicolor classic.

Co-directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen, this movie about movies is so loveable, so joyous, and so dang fun. The story follows silent film stars Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont as they make the difficult transition into talking pictures. This is made even harder when Don falls in love with a chorus girl, and the jealous Lina tries to ruin their relationship.

Gene Kelly stars in his greatest (most dignified!) role. In her screen debut as the chorus girl, 19yo Debbie Reynolds stands toe to toe with the pros and delivers enough charm to turn the biggest cynic into a fan. And the often forgotten but endlessly entertaining Donald O'Connor plays Cosmo Brown, Lockwood's longtime friend who always pulls him through difficult times and makes him (and the rest of us) laugh.

If you've never seen it, you owe it to yourself. Bring your friends and family, and join us on the 31st of July. Brighten your winter with Singin' in the Rain.
