This One Time is improvised storytelling stand-up comedy show. At the start of the show, the audience and performers each write on slips of paper the hook line of a real story that happened to them, for example, “I was kicked out of the zoo for fighting one of the animals”. We then throw everybody’s stories into a cauldron, mix it up and then the performers take turns drawing a slip of paper, reading it out and then telling us what happened in as much detail as possible. It might be their real story, or they might be lying through their teeth! Once the story is complete, audience members will be selected to decide whether they think it was real or made up, if they guess right, they win a prize!
It's a game of blagging, deception and trickery where we never let the truth get in the way of a good yarn. If you’ve got a great story that you’d like to be told, come along and enjoy a bevvie with some yummy food and have a giggle while we find out what REALLY happened This One Time!
