Tree Town Steamers Extravaganza
A SteamPunk family fun participation day organised by the Tree Town Steamers of Cambridge in Support of InterlockNZ trust.
Join in the adventure and witness the bizarre beauty of the Victorian era as it meets modern times with all its different incarnations and spectacular pageantry.
Enter into our world and freely participate in a wonderland where Teapot racing, Parasol duelling, and Tea duelling become intense sports and part of the strange normality as eras and ideas clash. Where Ladies, Children and Gents mix with Characters like Madame De Transcendente, Lord Percival Purgatroid, Naughty Nellie, Lady Carlotta and many others.
Steampunk Themed face painting and sales tables along with static displays of artworks and wonders for all the family to enjoy.
A sumptuous High-Tea is available on the day for $10pp so that you may sit and feast on the spectacle sauntering around you.
The day is topped off by a Fashion Parade of tantalising fashionistas which will steal your breath and leave your mind reeling with possibilities.
The ONYX restaurant has graciously donated a $200 meal voucher to be drawn at 1pm for a lucky community visitor to our marvellous day. Check the back of your flyer.
