Run by Communicare with a wonderful group of volunteers offering games, bingo, speakers and outings plus refreshments for our over 60's seniors and disabled community. All welcome. $5 donation.
Communicare was established in 1959, historically for maimed civilians, connecting them with others in their community.
As we evolved, Communicare now support isolated and lonely seniors and disabled adults to connect. We currently run 17 groups around Auckland, all run by volunteers and overseen by a coordinator.
Morning tea and lunch is provided.
All facilitators are trained along with first aid training including health and safety.
