Mahuru Māori Storytelling with Moira Wairama

Join Wellington Storyteller Moira Wairama in two free special storytelling sessions as part of Mahuru Māori. Tamariki will learn about the Māori legends of Ngake and Whātaitai, and Rona and Moon in te reo Pākeha and te reo Māori.

In Hepetema/September, Capital E will be celebrating te reo Māori all month long. Each Hātarei/Saturday will have a special performance in PlayHQ that encourages te reo Māori in our tamariki. Throughout Hepetema, kaiako will also have a focus on te reo Māori in their activities.
