A tribute to "The Women's Orchestra of Auschwitz", this year’s Kristallnacht Commemorative Concert tells the stories of the lives of four women through the evening’s music programme.
We will journey from pre-war Europe through the horrors of World War II, recounting the many roles music played in their lives – resistance, survival, resilience, and a means to battle racism and fascism.
From virtuoso violin talent touring Europe to conductor of "The Women's Orchestra of Auschwitz”, the story of Alma Rosé, and three other inspirational women’s lives will be shared through this unique concert.
The concert musicians are Amalia Hall (violin), Yury Gezentszvey, (violin), Inbal Megiddo (cello), and the Kristallnacht Ensemble. The narrators are Inbal Megiddo and Sharn Maree Cassady; with MC Donald Maurice.
