International Women's Day - A Picnic In the Park!

The 1 day of the year where women all over the world come together and celebrate everything it is to be a woman...

- To celebrate women's achievement.
- To raise awareness against bias.
- And to take action for equality.

If sitting in a beautiful garden surrounded by incredible women, drinking wine, listening to a line-up of inspirational speakers and celebrating the local women in our community sounds like your kinda thing, then this 'gathering' is for you!

This year to celebrate International Women's Day, we are doing it slightly different. If you have come to these events in the past, you would know my vision of making this particular event bigger and bigger every year.

Unfortunately this year, covid has other plans... but that will not stop us coming together to celebrate everything it is to be a woman.

So pack your wine, picnic basket & blanket and come along the Jakar Gardens.

Settle in with some soft live music and get comfy as you listen to our line up of incredible speakers and celebrate the nominees and winner of IWD Timaru 2022.
