You may have heard the name Miss Sinton from Ponsonby’s Fitzroy Lounge bar night ‘Elsewhere- House of Wahine’- a night showcasing Auckland’s finest female djs, creating an environment which is supportive, encouraging and founded by Auckland breakthrough talent Miss Sinton herself.
Miss Sinton’s passion for all genres of music has driven her eclectic style, with the ability to compose an atmosphere to suit any environment from a warehouse rave to a blissed out summer jam.
Miss Sinton’s bourgeoning musical career began as a base guitarist in a metal band, having grown up dancing to a soundtrack of punk, disco, hi hop and rock and roll. At 16 she got a job at Auckland’s famous haunt- ‘Squid’, where her lust for electronic music was fed by jungle, techno, house and drum & base.
Her passion and inspiration has only continued to keep growing, year after year.
Miss Sinton channels energy from her life into her mixing, finding inspiration and solace in music and the house scene.
Miss Sinton is excited about where this journey will continue to take her and in the meantime, she’ll continue to provide luscious hand raising beats for every occasion.
