FRANCK 200 - Michael Stewart (Organ)

The twelve major organ works of César Franck laid the foundation for the French Symphonic School of organ composition, harnessing the power and versatility of the new organs of Aristide Cavaille-Coll. In the 200th year of Franck’s birth, Michael Stewart presents these ever-popular and influential works in a series of four recitals as part of Wellington Cathedral of St Paul’s Thank God it’s Friday series.

All recitals take place at 12.45pm, with entry by donation.
