Festival Artist Concert

Festival Artists Robin Wilson (Violin), Andrew Joyce (Cello), Bridget Douglas (Flute), Madeleine Pierard (Soprano) and Stephen De Pledge (Piano) will take you on a whirlwind trip around the world. The combination of voice, flute, violin, cello and piano create a whole world of colours. From the robust dances of Bartók’s Hungary to the exotic sun-soaked songs of Ravel, the music takes us through emotional landscapes and vistas.
The concert features the world premiere of Bougainvillea, which was written to raise funds to build a library in Bougainville, a project organised by writer of ‘Mister Pip’, Lloyd Jones.
