This course, new to our programme in 2022, runs over five Tuesday evenings 7 - 9 PM starting 2 August 2022.
Come and learn how to draw fashion sketches from a professional illustrator.
If you've ever been interested in figure drawing, or clothing illustrations, you'll love this course. You'll learn the basics of human anatomy, fabric rendering and how to illustrate elements of garments.
You'll be learning from Elena, a professional illustrator who has worked with clients such as Ralph Lauren, and she will help you find your own visual language and unlock your creativity through drawing, from concept to completion.
Who should attend this course?
Anyone who is interested in fashion illustrations; those who are planning to attend fashion school and need some preparation, fashion designers, seamstresses, stylists, costume directors who want to learn some fundaments of fashion illustration.
Expected learning outcomes:
- Ability to translate your ideas onto paper
- Ability to draw any fabric texture
- Improve communications with clients, using illustrations
