Feel the Steam Punk'd vibe at the Carlton Gallery in Katikati.
On exhibition are Steam Punk'd Birdhouses by local wood crafter Straytangent and Steam Punk masks by local Tinkersmith Artisan Leatherworks.
Open 7 days.
Local wood-working artist ‘Stray Tangent’ is displaying a limited run of ‘Steam Punk’d Bird Houses’. Each rustic, charming steam-punk style birdhouse is unique and signed by the artist, making a perfect gift for someone who has a sheltered nook in their garden, balcony or patio area.
The Steam Punk’d Birdhouses come in a variety of designs, shapes, colours and timbers adorned with steampunk icons. A limited number of birdhouses will be sold ‘naked’ of adornments but with a range of hand-chosen embellishments (think antique keys, original clock cogs and other quirky items) so you can decorate your own chosen birdhouse.
Stray Tangent loves working with wood; whether it’s making fairy or birdhouses, sculpting or creating unique furniture.
