9 May is Europe Day - a day when we mark peace in Europe through the founding of the European Union. This year, we do not have peace in Europe. Russia's unjustified and unprovoked war is an attack not just on Ukraine, not just on Europe, but on the entire world.
This year, the European Union dedicates Europe Day to Ukraine.
Here in Aotearoa New Zealand, the EU Delegation joins with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Choir of Wellington Cathedral of St Paul and the Tudor Consort to show our support for Ukraine. We invite you to join us and #StandWithUkraine.
