Acrylic Composites or Eco-resins are water-soluble compounds that can be cast into hard objects and home decor, e.g., Ecrylimer, A1 Composites, Aqua Cast, Jesmonite and more
Non-toxic and eco friendly, and best of all, easy to clean up with water.
- You’ll learn the step-by-step process of using an Acrylic Composite to create homeware such as trinket dishes, decor and coasters.
- In this workshop you will make one Trinket Tray and one Coaster with the products supplied. Your design.
- A range of pigment liquids and pigment powders will be available for your creation.
- You will learn techniques in determining quantities, mixing, colouring, and pouring with Bramblier Ecrylimer.
- Various art techniques such as terrazzo, marbling, using paper, gold flakes and more will be discussed.
- We will not be able to seal your pieces in class due to time constraints. Your creations can still be used, but are not recommended for wet areas until sealed.
- Aprons and gloves will be provided if you wish to use them.
IMPORTANT: Starter Packs and some extra coaster moulds will be available for purchase on the day, at a very special workshop discount (cash preferred).
Wear appropriate clothing as it can be messy. Although masks are not normally required for Acrylic Composites, please wear your covid mask as the risks are still high and we want to keep everyone safe, plus it is also useful when working with very fine powder/pigments.

NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, and you will be able to take your items home at the end of the session.
