Bands:
AMBER HAYWARD
SMOKED PAPRIKA
SURF ROSA
with LOOKING FOR ALASKA

LOOKING FOR ALASKA:
Looking for Alaska are no strangers to the Kirikiriroa music scene. Winning high praise from RNZ and critics for their beautiful songwriting. The gorgeous voice of lead singer Amy Maynard has led to a whopping 37,000 Tik Tok followers, enchanted with her beautiful renditions of songs. Their self tilted was nominated for best debut album at the NZ Taite music awards in 2017 and spent 12 weeks on the NZ album charts, peaking at number 9 on the NZ charts. The album has received over 100,000 streams on Spotify and has seen Looking for Alaska complete 2 headline tours of NZ, tour internationally in Europe and Australia, at home at the Auckland Folk Festival, Whare Flat Folk Festival, TSB Festival of Lights and Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival. The band most recent album recording took them to Neil Finn's Roundhead Studios.

AMBER HAYWARD:
Amber wowed us at "Music in the Park" music concert. She infuses a mixed of originals with her on take of classic songs like "Billie Jean". Amber is a star in the making, brimming with beautiful songwriting, voice and confidence that beguiles her age.

SMOKED PAPRIKA:
Another band who wowed at us "Music In the Park". Smoked Paprika are a blend of indie rock and pop sensibilities. The band have performed in the Smokefree Rock Quest, New Found Sound and regulars at Nivara Lounge. The band has their own defining sound and recently released their very slick EP called Road Trip.

SURF ROSA:
Formerly Betend Rocket. The Cambridge band Surf Rosa are making waves with their indie infused sound. While their name might hint at a nod to The Pixies, the band defines their own sound. The band has been performing around the Waikato including the amazing Jam Factory (TGA), ZEAL (Hamilton) and Smokefree Rockquest.

Many thanks to these INCREDIBLE sponsors:
