It’s been 20 years (almost!) of the Construction Contracts Act 2002 in New Zealand. Please join us in celebrating this milestone with like-minded peers at Construction Day 2022! This full-day programme will be a fantastic opportunity to debate and discuss the CCA’s effectiveness on the construction and building dispute resolution sector over the past two decades.

Attendees can look forward to a keynote address, followed by panel discussions and presentations including a reflection on the CCA from John Walton, adjudication from counsel and advocates’ point of views; jurisdictional issues; industry perspectives from across the spectrum of smaller and larger firms; navigating the procedural tightrope, and more.

The day will wrap up with a symposium of ‘where to from here?’ providing attendees with a fantastic overview discussion from panellists who will look back at the past 20 years’ of the CCA, alongside share their thoughts on what the sector can look forward to (and watch out for!) in the coming years.

Who’s Construction Day ideal for?

If you’re interested in learning more about the CCA and the adjudication process, hearing from leading practitioners on their experiences, and diving into the nitty-gritty of the Act…Construction Day is for you. With such wonderful lineup of presenters sharing their insights and experiences within the sector, Construction Day 2022 will be highly valuable day for those new to the construction dispute sector and seasoned practitioners alike.

We look forward to welcoming you to this fantastic event in September!
