Benjamin Britten composed his 'A Ceremony of Carols' whilst aboard the SS Axelrod en route to England in 1942. It is a brilliantly setting collection of a number of medieval English carols, bookended with plainsong sung in procession.
The Cathedral Choristers of Wellington Cathedral of St Paul perform this beautiful work every December in the lead up to Christmas. Join them as they perform with Michelle Velvin (harp), conducted by Max Toth.
