Join us for a couple of hours to save a stand of Mountain Beech and other native plants from the wilding pine invasion, and help to keep the top of Hammys and Squid Run mountain bike trails clear.
Loppers and handsaws will be provided on the day, but please bring your own gardening gloves. Training will be provided on use of the tools and the correct way to remove wilding pines. Sturdy shoes and warm clothes are imperative!
Thanks to the kind generosity of Skyline Enterprises who will provide you with a ticket up the gondola to access the area for the event. (Note - walking only, this is not a bike uplift pass.)
We will be providing morning snacks for everyone, thanks to Bidfood, but please bring your own flask of tea or coffee or water, as we can't provide drinks.
The team at Altitude Brewing are also supporting us with a drinks voucher for every slaughter session attendee!
