Weeding For The Win: Help Restore Trelissick Park

This is your chance to get down with nature and dirt under your fingernails, by taking part in critical conservation mahi to restore Trelissick Park. Meet new people, raise a sweat clearing and tearing, and help contribute to Zealandia's Sanctuary to Sea project for a nature-rich future for Wellington.  Light refreshments provided. All ages welcome, bring the whole whānau!

Arrive at Oban Street entrance for the briefing at the start of each session time, but feel free to stay for as long or as little as you can. The weeding will take place along the Kaiwharawhara Stream; the trail to the weeding site is 5-10 minutes downhill.

We recommend you dress to the conditions, with comfortable shoes, warm clothing, and a waterproof layer. Equipment will be provided but feel free to bring your own sturdy gloves and a water bottle to keep hydrated (no toilets available).

This event is weather dependent, we'll get in touch if we decide to cancel. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
