The Repertoire Journey is a series of concerts where the Music is the main protagonist of the stage. The theme can vary from a composer to a form, nationality or historic period. These concerts will always be presented by a number of international local performers who will be sharing the stage in service of this music offering.

This concert will feature some of the spectacular repertoire of European piano dances written for 4 and 6 hands. The performers will be pianists Camila Oliveira, Matteo Napoli and Flavio Villani.

Tickets are available online and at the door. This event is free for students of L'Accademia and Vivaldi Academy.

Matteo Napoli - BIO
Matteo is a Naxos recording artist with 6 CDs recorded and is now living in Auckland.
Matteo Napoli's career as a pianist spans many countries. Over the last 30 years he has appeared throughout Italy, in Europe (Paris, London, Lausanne, Brasov, Munich, Nicosia, Larnaca) America (New York, Mexico City, San Paolo) Asia (Japan: Fukuoka, Yamaguchi, Oita, Akita Miyagi) and the Pacific Area (Perth, Auckland, New Plymouth, Nelson, Tauranga, Taupo)
His performances with orchestras include the Florence Chamber Orchestra, Medicea Laurenziana, The Brasov Philarmonic, The Ofunam Orchestra of Mexico City, St. Matthew's Chamber Orchestra, The Transylvania Chamber Orchestra, The Rimini Youth Synphony Orchestra, The Nelson Sinphony, The Tirana Opera House Orchestra, The Budrio Sinphonyc and The Cyprus Matteo is a winner of the "Liszt Piano competition” in Italy 1984.
He recorded a world premiere for the "Swiss Romande Radio".

Camila Oliveira - BIO
The Brazilian pianist Camila Oliveira began her musical studies at the age of 6 years old. She won many Piano Competitions, such as 20th ArtLivre Piano Competition, 8th Piano Competition Maestro Rodrigo Tavares, 24th “Paulo Giovanini” Piano Competition, 7th National Piano Competition Maestro Spartaco Rossi and 1st Piracicaba International Piano Concert Competition. She has played with many orchestras, such as Symphonic Orchestra of the Municipal Theatre of São Paulo, São Paulo State Symphony Band, Bachiana SESI-SP Foundation Orchestra, São Pedro Theatre Orchestra and Santo André Symphony Orchestra. In 2008 she completed her bachelor’s degree in Piano at the Faculty of Arts Alcântara Machado, under the guidance of Professor Marisa Lacorte. She is now completing her postgraduate studies in piano performance at the University of Auckland under Dr Rae de Lisle. Furthermore, she has maintained an intense career as a collaborative pianist and chamber music musician.

Flavio Villani - BIO
Flavio Villani is a New Zealand pianist who made Auckland his home after moving from Italy more than a decade ago. Flavio graduated with Masters in Music (Hons) in 2012 from the University of Auckland under the tutorship of Stephen De Pledge. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Waikato, with Katherine Austin as supervisor. Flavio has performed in different chamber music formations and as a soloist in the US, Italy, Spain, North Macedonia and New Zealand. The performance of Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto n.2 with the Orchestra Filarmonica della Calabria was featured in the biopic "Crossing Rachmaninoff" who won several awards and international recognition in 2015.
