Rob Joass (vocals, guitar and mandola) and Jo Moir (vocals and violin) have performed together in Hobnail for over 25 years now. They have toured all over the world and of course extensively throughout New Zealand, releasing 8 albums including 2019’s Best Of “Boots and All” (5 Stars – NZ Musician). For this very special performance at the Christchurch Folk Club they will be joined by their 2 sons, both of whom have performed at the club previously. Luca is an accomplished singer/songwriter/guitarist and club members might remember Tom as the bass guitarist in the Bill Hickman Band. Tom is also an accomplished singer/guitarist.
Together they will be performing some Hobnail songs, some of Rob and Luca’s solo compositions and some songs by artists that they all love.
Doors open 7pm. Performance starts at 7.30pm. You will get a seat if you arrive close to 7pm.
Plenty of well-lit off-street parking.
Door sales cash only: Current COVID restrictions will apply: signing in will be required, please wear a mask and observe social distancing, chairs will be arranged for "bubble" seating.
